About Me

profile picture

My father named me after my grandfather, his name was Candelario which means candlelight in Spanish. My grandfather's nickname was Lallo, so I received his nickname as my first name. Most of my friends call me "Lay Low" because that’s how my name is usually mispronounced.

I graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo in May of 2007. My major was Mass Communications with an emphasis in New Media Studies , and also received a minor in Computer Information Systems with an emphasis in Web Development. Upon my graduation, I was hired as a Web Developer for Colorado State University-Pueblo's Information Technology department, where I worked for 11 years. I then moved to San Antonio, TX, where I was Web Manager at the University of the Incarnate Word and Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union. I'm currently a Web Developer at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Abodio

This is a project we worked on during our second year in the GoCodeColorado competition. The project utilizes Leaflet, jQuery, and Bootstrap to help an individual to see if they could put an accessory dwelling unit (tiny home) on their property. We ended up being picked as one of the three teams that won the competition.
